The State of Louisiana requires a license to work as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.

The 医学化验技术 (MLT) program meets the educational requirements to become a licensed Medical Laboratory Technologist in the state of Louisiana.

We have not made a determination for the following states*: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.

Students graduating from the 医学化验技术 (MLT) program are eligible to sit for an MLT Certification Exam.

An individual is eligible for a license upon successful completion of the MLT program, 通过国家注册考试, 并完成所需的州申请.

Graduates of the MLT program are eligible to be certified as Medical Laboratory Technicians by passing either of the following certification exams: American Medical Technologists (AMT) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).

Students graduating from the Pharmacy Technician (PT) program meet the educational requirements to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in the state of Louisiana.

We have not made a determination for the following states*: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY. 

Students graduating from the PT program are eligible to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam.

Students graduating from the PT program are eligible to take either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) or the Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) certification examinations.  The Pharmacy Technician program is a Louisiana Board of Pharmacy approved training program.   

To be eligible to be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Louisiana, an individual must be a graduate of a Louisiana Board of Pharmacy, 通过国家认证考试, and complete 600 hours of on-site training with a pharmacist.  Graduates of the PT program will complete 210 of the 600 required hours at the time of graduation.

The state of Louisiana requires a license to work as a Radiologic Technologist.

The 放射技术 program meets the educational requirements to become a licensed Radiologic Technologist in the state of Louisiana.

We have not made a determination for the following states*: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.

Students graduating from the 放射技术 program are eligible to apply for permission to take the American Registry of 放射技术 (ARRT) Certification Exam in the state of Louisiana.

Licensure requires a graduate from a Radiologic Technologist program, 参加并通过art测试, and to successfully fulfill all state licensing requirements.

The Surgical Technology program meets the educational requirements to become a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in the state of Louisiana.

We have not made a determination for the following states*: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.

Students graduating from the Surgical Technology program are eligible to sit for the CST certification exam in the state of Louisiana. The granting of the degree is not contingent upon the passing of any external certification exam.

Graduates of Surgical Technology programs accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) are eligible to sit for the Surgical Technologist certification exam administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).  Neither the CST certification nor licensing is required by the State of Louisiana.

Graduation does not guarantee eligibility to sit for licensure, certification, or registry exams. Please understand that licensure and certification eligibility can be affected by unlawful events that take place after acceptance into a program. 作为许可证的一部分, certification, 以及注册申请流程, arrest and court records of final adjudication for any offense other than a minor traffic violation may be submitted to credentialing agency for review. Applicants who have been convicted of a felony and whose civil rights have not been restored may be considered incomplete by the College until documentation of restoration of civil rights is received. 

Licensing and certification requirements vary by state. Students who relocate to another state during their enrollment may or may not satisfy the eligibility criteria to obtain a professional license or certification in that state.
